- IRISH OVER DRESS/ COMFORT ~ We created this design in the US with comfort in mind. Very wearable in those hot summer festivals and adjustable to fit your body shape. Developed in the 90's in our California studio, it has unfortunately been widely knocked off by foreign factories. BOHO CHEMISE ~ Developed with our Irish Dress to create a flattering costume reasonably priced for women of all sizes.
- FABRIC SAFETY ~ US Lab tested for toxicity and flammability. Passed all requirements. There have been high levels of toxic metals and chemicals found in the manufacturing of factory mass produced Fast Fashion garments. These substances can cause great damage to health and to the environment.
- QUALITY ~ Our studio is small and we make a limited number of costumes per year. This way, we can keep a close look on quality at every level of production of our designs. Our costumes are an excellent deal at this price. We offer a safe alternative between the superior quality, expensive costume and the cheap untested one. With this in mind, you will be ecstatic with what you receive.
- ABOUT US ~ We are a small, U.S. based, woman- owned, family business. We have owned this business for almost 30 years and plan to pass it down to future generations. We have been doing this for a long time and take pride in what we do! We are ecstatic that our original designs have been so well received and thank each of our customers for supporting our small business.
- OUR MISSION ~ We developed, 27 years ago, a series of costumes based on the concept of quality for less. At the time, there was little to choose from that wasn't $200+ for a simple costume. Our idea was not to provide truly genuine Guild costumes, which can run in the thousands, or cheap factory made costumes that are a dime a dozen, but to provide a quality costume for its price for those who enjoy visiting Faires and still play a part by looking the part.
