Breathe Healthy Masks utilize the hospital safe, non-allergenic AEGIS hi-tech performance antimicrobial treatment that lasts for the life of the mask. It is a permanent antimicrobial agent that kills germs on contact, is environmentally safe, and is still effective after washing 100 times. Breathe Healthy masks have a special inner liner, which is a fabric that was designed to be worn next to the skin. It wicks away moisture, which is the main reason that masks can feel hot. The liner employs a hydrophobic/hydrophilic ("moisture wick and repel") technology which allows the wearer to breathe more comfortably. They can be worn for longer periods without becoming unbearably hot.
