This apparent camp classic came and went in 1982 without so much as one week on the Billboard charts. Cher fans who dig her late-'80s power-ballad phase might like I Paralyze, an early stab at the genre (never mind the cover's new wave styling). Silly love songs from the pens of Desmond Child, John Waite, and Jacques Morali are, um, highlights, as is the way Cher's vocal, er, prowess is buried deep in the title track's mix. --Rickey Wright
