Clara lives outside of town with her brother in a large farm. She loves the freedom of the countryside and is content with life until one day her life is turned upside down. Henry rides into her life with but a simple wish, a place to spend the night. However, fate has other plans and he must stay a while longer to nurse his injured horse. Time gives them the opportunity to fall in love and on the morn he leaves, he promises to return.

Weeks go by and Clara grows worried at his absence. Determined to find him, she sets off in search of him. A town girl and her brother offer shelter and help but the journey isnâ€™t as easy as she thought. A betrayal, a fight and tear-shed lie in store and Clara wonders if she will be able to make it through aliveâ€¦
