Legendary Grammy nominee percussionist Sammy Figueroa has done it again with another outstanding Latin jazz album, combining sophistication and beauty with swinging rhythms on a variety of percussion instruments. Venezuelan composer/musicians Silvano Monasterios (piano) and Gabriel Vivas (bass) have created brilliant compositions that embrace Figueroa's ever-creative rhythmical conversation. Joined by star horn players Troy Roberts (sax) and Alex Pope Norris (trumpet), plus one of today's finest young drummers, David Chiverton, the musicianship level is astounding.
