"Cow" (from Polish Krówka) - candies irises with a stuffing from liquid fondant with addition of milk and butter.
The name was received according to the image of a cow on a wrapper. In the 1920th Felix Pomorsky (mind. 1963), arranged in Poznan production of an iris with a liquid stuffing, in a wrapper on which the cow of golshtinsky breed was represented. He learned the recipe of this sweet in the childhood from the uncle living in Zhitomir Ukraine. During World War II Mr. Pomor was compelled to transfer the production to Milyanuvek,
and after war "Cow" began to be made and in other countries of socialist camp - GDR, Czechoslovakia, the Belarusia.
