- Quickly raises the calcium levels in your pool to prevent low calcium levels that can cause erosion, pitting, and etching of pool surfaces.
- Excessive use of calcium hardness increaser can lead to scaling and blockage, potentially damaging pool equipment.
- Maintain proper calcium hardness for improved pool water quality.
- The recommended range for calcium in your water is around 180-220 ppm. Keep the ppm below 400.
- Add around 6 pounds per 10,000 gallons to increase hardness by approximately 50 ppm. Apply if hardness drops below 150 ppm.
A low calcium hardness level can cause corrosion of your pool's plumbing and heater as well as stain or etch your pool's surface.
