A fortuitous meeting off the beaten track in Scandinavia has given rise to Invisible Rays, a spontaneous collaboration between two of the most innovative guitarists and one of the most explosive drummers on the planet. Trey Gunn (King Crimson), guitarist/improviser Henry Kaiser (too many famous collaborators to list) and drummer Morgan Agren (Zappa, Bill Laswell) first met at a music education conference in March, 2011 and within days were in the studio together. At once anchored and propelled by Agren's ferociously complex drumming, Invisible Rays soars through phantasmagoric soundscapes shaped and painted by searing electric guitars and raging bass lines. The impact is monumental.
