Former successful Motown writers, this powerhouse duo penned a string of hits for greats like Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross. Single offerings Flashback and the album's title track would both enjoy US R&B Chart success with the latter climbing to #12. However it was the album's debut single that would become the duo's as yet biggest hit single. Spending an incredible five weeks at #2 on the US R&B Chart, It Seems To Hang On would simultaneously reach the top 50 on the UK Pop chart and comfortably top the UK Disco chart at the same time.
