Part of the series released by Musica Omnia featuring harpsichord virtuoso and eminent scholar Peter Wachtchorn's and his distinguished series devoted to JS Bach's entire output for harpsichord. The Inventions and Sinfonias, BWV 772-801, featured here are Bach's "teaching pieces" from the early 1720s. Mr. Watchorn expertly performs on a model built by AR McAllister from 1999 based on the JH Harrass model c.1710 and tuned in Bradley Lehman's interpretations of Bach's own tuning, encoded on the title page of the Well-Tempered Clavier of 1722. Released in 2008.
