Before we jump to the story, let me tell you how this book was made. One day, my wife and I decided to make Chinese-Japanese bilingual picture books for our own daughters to teach them Chinese.

My wife and I have a 7-year old daughter and a 2-year old daughter. But since we live in Japan, they have only limited exposure to Chinese language. Then, we though that since they both like to read books, it would be a good idea to make Chinese-Japanese bilingual picture books and read them together. So, first, I originally made a Japanese-Chinese version â€œLetâ€™s Learn Chinese with Niniâ€™s Picture Book çŒœçŒœæˆ‘æ˜¯è°(Guess Who I Am).â€ Then, I thought that I could make Japanese-English versions as well. So, this is how this book was made.

At the end of some pages, there are also brief grammar explanations as well, so you donâ€™t need to know much of Japanese grammar either. I will introduce the Japanese grammar little by little in later stories of this series. So youâ€™ll learn Japanese grammar gradually.
