Johnsons Scaly Lotion 15ml is a safe, gentle soothing lotion for the treatment of Scaly Face and Scaly Leg in cage birds (i.e. Budgerigars, Canaries etc.). Scaly Beak and Leg are caused by a small mite (Cnemidocoptes pilae) which bore into the cere, beak and legs, causing tissue damage. This infection can spread rapidly to other birds and therefore early treatment is necessary as soon as any symptoms appear. Johnsons Scaly Lotion kills the mites which causes Scaly Face and Scaly Leg and is easy to apply either via a dropper bottle or by using a dry, clean artists paintbrush or cotton bud. Contains: Pyrethrins (from Pyrethrum Extract) 0.10% w/v, Piperonyl Butoxide 1.00% w/v, Chlorocresol 0.20% w/v
