- Air-compressed Work: This pneumatic cylinder leak down tester tool needs power support from air compressor (not provided in this package) within the standard shop air supply of 45-100 psi via American air quick plug. Black AR2000 air regulator valve is used for pressure adjustment to ensure that the input compressed air pressure can reach its required value at any time. Push out to use, and back to lock. Turn the knob anticlockwise to switch off before connecting.
- Dual Detections: Cylinder leak tester tool approves cylinder pressure test for use in conjunction with cylinder leakproofness detection. Reading from dual scale (psi / bar) and 0-100% (Accuracy: ±0.5%), 3-inch gauges have clear dial and accurate pointers for easy view on readings at a glance. Leakdown gauge tool hooks up to air machine can help diagnose and identify common engine faults like worn piston rings, worn valves, cracks in cylinder walls and blown head gaskets.
- Wide Coverage: It is not just as a compression tester. There is 1pc 10" rubber hose and 2pcs aluminum adapters besides the combustion leak tester. The cylinder compression tester kit provides all the tools necessary for the compression check and leakage test of engine cylinders on most import and export petrol gasoline makes and models with M10, M12 or M14 spark plugs. Especially good for testing trucks & car models where clearance is minimal. Ideal for mechanics and occasional amateurs.
- Easy Usage: Install the 10" hose onto the cylinder pressure gauge manifold through quick disconnect system, M10 or M12 metal adapter can also be added on this basis if necessary. Connect the gauge tester to air compressor and install the other end into spark plug wells. Then open air regulator valve clockwise. Leak can be determined by comparing the normal cylinder pressure of the engine with the measured pressure of certain cylinder, and by the more obvious leakage rate.
