The AMP RX from K2 is a designed to be a ski for the true beginner or very mellow intermediate skier to learn and hone their skills. The Core of the RX is made from Composite Foam that is very soft and forgiving that will be easy for the mellower or less technically proficient skier to make it react. The Catch Free Rocker on the AMP RX uses rocker in the tip to ease turn initiation or allow you to push out a snowplow with minimal effort to control your skis. Catch Free Rocker has low camber underfoot that will keep the ski engaged in a turn. A small amount of rocker in the tail will help you skid turns by releasing the ski from turns quickly. The AMP RX comes complete with the Marker Fastrak binding system that should always be mounted, adjusted and tested by a certified binding technician that allows the size to be changed for growing feet without being re-drilled.
