K-Sys and the Kadochnikov's System: An American Understanding of Kadochnikov's System
The manual that started it all, first published in 2003.
We have no hardback copies left, but due to the interest in PraMek and Matt Powell's work, we are making these e-manual's available!!!
This manual is over 80 pages, with over one hundred illustrations and diagrams. The book covers the history of the anthropological development of the Kadochnikov System, the theoretical basis of the system, combative biomechanics, and instruction on how to apply these in combat.
This was the first English language manual about the Kadochnikov System approved by the A.A. Kadochnikov School.
Matt Powell's first work, after being among the first Westerner's to be trained at the Kadochnikov school in 2001, this book is a true classic of martial art. When famed Kadochnikov System was unknown in the early 2000's, a group of American's were invited to Krasnodar, Russia to train under Alexei Kadochnikov and his group of instructors. Matt Powell (now founder of Pramek System) was selected to be the American representative of the school. Matt founded an organization called K-Sys, which spread the Kadochnikov System throughout the United States and into Europe.
As the American students labored to understand what they were being taught an ocean away, they began to develop their own understanding of the Kadochnikov System and it's creator, Alexei Kadochnikov, the father of modern Russian Martial Art. This book teaching the basics of the science of Kadochnikov System, but also show elements of Pramek before Pramek was Pramek, such as Monitor & Control, Theory + Movement = Application, Phases of Biomechanical Interaction, and others.
This is a must have for any serious student of Russian Martial Art or the combat sciences.
