By layereing triangles and squares with precut or bias-cut edges on background squares, blocks are flat, square and the perfect finished sizes. The layered pieces are top-stitched close to the raw edges with matching or contrasting thread. Since the edges are pinked or cut on the bias they will softly curl and fray when washed but will not unravel. It creates a dimensional, textrual element to your quilts that is touchably soft and cuddly. Make it fast and fun!
