Acquired by Amtrak in the 70's, many of Amtrak's "heritage" baggage cars are older than Amtrak itself â€“ a tribute to their rugged construction and continued utility. This HO Baggage car is a brand new product from Kato USA, designed to accompany similarly painted available Amtrak Superliners in modelers long distance passenger trains. Sporting Kato's standard metal-like painted finish and Amtrak's most current (as of 2014) paint scheme, this Baggage car is a must have for any modern Amtrak modeler.
