Kevala's Organic Sesame Flour is made from certified organic unhulled sesame seeds. Raw unhulled sesame seeds are ground into a fine flour, making it an easily absorbable source of calcium and natural protein.
Sesame flour is an excellent addition to baking or simply sprinkled over salads, cereal, pasta and soups for an extra nutritional and nutty punch.
Uses: When baking, you can substitute up to one-quarter of regular flour called in a recipe. If the recipe calls for gluten free flour, then sesame flour may replace the whole amount needed. As with most recipe substitutions, we encourage you to experiment with the quantities in order to get the best results.
