'Labour of Love II,' following in the hugely successful footsteps of its predecessor, 'Labour of Love,' is a covers-only album released in 1989 by British reggae group UB40. As usual for UB40, the album was hit, and contained two Top Ten hits on the Billboard Hot 100 - 'Here I Am (Come and Take Me)' and 'The Way You Do the Things You Do.' Followed nearly nine years later by 'Labour of Love III,' 'Labour of Love II' took all of UB40's successful elements - driving horns, keyboards, and of course, smooth reggae - but lent a new and exciting twist to these classic covers. 'Labour of Love II' also includes the fan favorite, 'Baby,' originally by the Heptones. Fans of UB40 do not want to miss this classic addition to their discography!
