- DESIGN----This three neck distilling flask designed with a round bottom and angled necks which allows to attach three lab glassware components for distillation apparatus( simple distillation,steam distillation,fractional distillation,azeotropic distillation).Round bottom design having spherical bottoms are more resistant to fracturing under vacuum, as a sphere more evenly distributes stress across its surface.and allows more uniform heating or boiling of a liquid.
- WIDELY USED ---Round-bottom flasks are often used to contain chemical reactions for reflux set-ups and laboratory-scale synthesis.It also can be used as a distilling flasks and receiving flasks for the distillate. For example, in a Grignard Reaction,a 3 neck flask will be used a distillation flask under a heating mantle, the center neck attaches a PTFE adapter for a magnetic stir shaft, the left angled neck attaches a pressure equalizing.The wrong neck attaches a liebig or west condenser.
- DIMENSIONS-----This durable round bottom flasks with 3 necks, one center and two angled,with 24/40 standard taper joints on the necks accommodating lab apparatus for multi purpose. It features heavy wall spherical body and 1000mL capacity.Comparing to the single neck or twin neck flask,the 3 neck flasks have one more jointed neck for extra function,when it is not needed,the extra necks can be stopped by penny head glass stoppers.
