This intake screen is designed for maximum flow, while filtering out debris that can clog pump impellers. If used below the 150 gallons-per-minute rating there will be ZERO flow restriction, which means maximum pressure and flow from your pump. Both ends of the screen have threaded PVC fittings. This means easy cleaning for maintenance because the screen can be cleaned from the inside out. Extremely sturdy and durable construction.
