Conductor Michael Tilson Thomas and the Florida based New World Symphony have great fun performing works by familiar and some not-so-familiar mostly South American composers. Carlos Chavez's Symphony no. 2 (Sinfonia India), Astor Piazzolla's "Tangazo" and Alberto Ginastera's "Danzas del ballet Estancia" are especially memorably tuneful, stylish, and well... swing!
