The Lethan LC2730 jumbo economy Wimshurst Machine features large 10.75" Acrylic discs, which are @20% larger in diameter and 35% thicker compared to the economy wimshurst machines offered by companies like American Educational (7-509 model cited). The larger discs are supported by a beefed up pulley system and an added acrylic support brace in the rear. The base is also 25% larger to make for a very stable platform. This device has a maximum spark length of @3.5". No assembly required, simply attach the hand crank, begin cranking, and watch in wonder as the sparks fly. Clear and concise instruction guide and helpful hints are included with each unit (written by us in English not Chinese). Each device is inspected, tested and properly packaged for shipment.
