Liberty Orchards Aplets & Cotlets, 8-Ounce Boxes, Pack of 6 Boxes
Nestled at the foot of the Cascade Mountains Armen Tertsagian and Mark Balaban, two young Armenian immigrants, found a valley carpeted with fruit orchards known as the Vale of Cashmere. In 1918, they purchased an apple farm there, which they named Liberty Orchards. Armen and Mark soon began experimenting with using their surplus fruit to create Rahat Locoum, a popular candy they had enjoyed as children. After some trial and error on the kitchen stove, they perfected a delicious apple and walnut recipe that they named Aplets. In the decades that followed, Liberty Orchards has continued to expand their product line to include some of the best-loved Northwest treats.
