Lorica Segmenta Cuirass Roman Plate Armor - High Carbon Steel Scale Medieval Greek

During the rule of the Romans, the ultimate form of body armor was the Lorica Segmenta, which consisted of steel and iron strips, bent around the body and linked together. The best warriors and officers in the military would have armour like this and it was the most effective way to protect the torso. This replica Lorica Segmenta is both functional and period accurate. It has been hand made and forged by a blacksmith whom has passed down his traditions for generations upon generations. It fits adult sizes and uses leather straps to hold the 4 piece set together. Best worn with a cotton padded upper armor vest. Each strip of carbon steel plating is riveted to a very thick genuine leather strap. This design makes the armor remarkably flexible and comfortable to wear.
