Ruggedly handsome Mountain Man, Patrick McCrery comes to her rescue. Patrick, half white and half Indian, he fits in neither world. He lives a solitary life as a trapper. He certainly does not want to get involved with the beautiful Samantha Foley. Knowing she is leaving at the first spring thaw, Samantha tries to guard her heart but sometimes her guard slips leaving her totally and utterly in love with her handsome hero. When she is finally left in town at the bottom of the mountain, she can’t help but gaze at the mountain trail wishing with all her heart, Patrick will appear. Can love shine through distrust, discrimination, and accusations? Only if it’s deep enough.
Interview with Kathleen Ball
Is Love So Deep your first Historical Western Romance? Yes it is. I changed gears and decided to write a sweet romance. Historical westerns have always been my favorite. Right now the price is right. It’s free in the US.
This one is not about a Cowboy No, it’s about a Trapper who lives alone. He’s Native American, well half and he’s not really part of either world.
What’s your favorite part of writing romance novels? The love story, the raw emotion of falling in love and hoping your feelings are reciprocated. I also love a happy ending. I always hope for marriage and babies for my characters but it’s usually a fun, emotional ride getting them to that point.
What other books do you have that are historical westerns? I have a Mail Order Bride Series that has gotten a lot of attention. The first book is Cinder’s Bride and it’s only 99 cents The second one is Keegan’s Bride The Third is Shane’s Bride The forth is Tramp’s Bride The fifth is Poor Boy’s Christmas- new for 2016.
