Luber-finer's air-filter restriction gauges have the capability to measure the air-flow resistance in a vehicle's air-intake system. This is done by measuring the amount of vacuum that is created when the air travels through the filter. When the filter has reached the end of its useful life, the air-restriction gauge alerts the driver that the filter needs to be replaced.
