Jason Taylor is home from the University Of Georgia for Christmas breakâ€”a whole month. He decides to clean out the apartment over the garage and set it up for him to use. He wisely does not want to spend his Christmas break staying alone in the house with his young and attractive mother. He wants to go and come as he pleases and with whom he pleases. To earn spending money for school, he sets up a service to do Christmas decorations, put up trees, and outside lights.

Coming home after a late job, he sees his best friendâ€™s mother wobbling down the sidewalk. He pulls over to give her a ride home and discovers she is drunkâ€”almost to the falling-down stage. He gets her in his truck, but before they go two blocks she has to throw up. Jason helps her out but she still throws up on him. Finally he gets her back in his truck and she immediately passes out.
