Lights will stay on even during voltage fluctuations, which can happen when a device like an air conditioner or a hair dryer is operated nearby. For safety, the dimmer is UL listed for a broad range of dimmable CFL and LED bulbs.

For added functionality, the dimmer also provides full-range dimming for halogen and incandescent bulbs. There is an adjustment dial to set the low end of dimming range for your bulb type for most efficient operation.
