The difference between 1A USB charging port and 2.1A USB charging port
Normally, most phones use 1A., tablets 2.1A. A higher ampere rated charger is capable of providing a higher current. However, your device will only draw a current that it needs.So a 2.1A/ 5V output adapter can be used to charge a 1A / 5V device, but a 1A / 5V output adapter cant not be used to charge a 2.1A/ 5V device.
