MULTIPLE-CHOICE+...F/AP CHEMIS
The sixth edition is an entirely new book, produced in response to the newly revised Curriculum Framework and examination format as developed by the College Board. Authored by David Hostage, Patsy Mueller, and Arden Zipp, it contains twelve chapters, each featuring a clear and concise review of the topics being covered. Each chapter ends with at least twenty-five multiple-choice questions in the new exam format, each with four possible answers and including at least half of the questions in item sets. Each chapter also has several multi-part constructed-response questions about that topic in the new style, with several long and some short items. The book includes three complete sample examinations in the new exam format. There is even an innovative new feature, a Semester I Examination designed to cover the first three Big Ideas of the new curriculum, perfect for a midyear review. The sixth edition contains hundreds of multiple-choice questions and dozens of constructed-response and equation questions. All of the questions are brand new, with many specifically designed to address and reinforce both the inquiry approach as well as the rigor in the totality of AP Chemistry concepts. In addition, the AP Chemistry Equations and Constants section has been reformatted and broken out by chapter and topic. Separate Student Answer Keys for the multiple-choice questions are included with each book. The twelve chapters of the book are: Chapter 1: Atomic Structure Chapter 2: Chemical Bonding Chapter 3: The Gas Phase Chapter 4: Intermolecular Forces and the Condensed Phases Chapter 5: Solutions Chapter 6: Stoichiometry Chapter 7: Chemical Kinetics Chapter 8: Chemical Equilibrium Chapter 9: Thermodynamics Chapter 10: Acids and Bases Chapter 11: Electrochemistry Chapter 12: Writing Net Ionic Equations
