Deluxe two disc (CD + PAL/Region 0 DVD) live release. In 1992 it had been six years since Madness split, and during those six years the musical landscape had changed to embrace Madchester (no relation), acid house and the U. S. grunge-rock explosion. When a plan was hatched for a reunion, nobody could predict exactly what would happen or how it would be received. They needn't have worried: when over 70,000 people turned up to watch the band over a weekend in August, Madness's place in the canon of Great British Bands was assured and Madstock - as it would later become known - was born. This DVD and CD package documents the events of one magical weekend in August 1992, when Madness reunited and literally (an actual earthquake was reported) rocked London's Finsbury Park to its very core.
