Mammoth xC Air Purifier HEPA Carbon xC Filter (Only for xC Model)

This filter is the replacement filter for the Mammoth xC 7 Stage Air Purifier from Mammoth Air Purifier - direct from manufacture.

This filter will only fit the Mammoth xC 7 Stage Air Purifier.

Replacement Lifetime: Mammoth Air Purifier suggest replacing the filter after 6 months of continuous use. You will clearly notice a difference between a new filter and old filter. Keep in mind an air purifier can only function as well as the quality of the filter. Note: depending upon your indoor quality, you might want to replace the filter sooner for homes with pets, smoker, industrial spaces, any heavier pollutant spaces.

Can't the filter be cleaned? You can brush off any larger dust particles but if you have the pre-filter on, there should not be any large particles. Washing the filter does not remove tiny particles trapped in the HEPA filter despite what some other manufacture suggest. Also, the photocatalytic properties diminishes over UV exposure.

How do I replace the filter? Easy. Just remove the thumb screw holding the pre-filter. Pull out the old filter and slide this new one in; then put the pre-filter back on.

What about the UV lamp or Ozone plate? UV lamp will last at least 2 years under continuous use. The ozone plate should be replaced when there is a burnt mark on the plate or no longer generates any noticeable ozone. Caution: we only suggest using ozone when no one is present around the air purifier.
