Marine Canvas Track to Track: Insider’s Information, “Seven secrets to installing the perfect track†This book is where you will be exposed to 31 different types of Marine Tracks being used (and this is not all of them) I am sharing with you years of my insight on the workings of Tracks, to help you selecting the right track to use and when. Learn what is out there, how to form your track to fit the boat. Having attended my first a Marine Fabrication event it was a two day regional held in 1994 in Detroit Michigan back then it was called Marine Textiles, one of the speakers was Don Wedge I learned so much from him in those two days plus I would read his fabrication tips in the Marine Textile magazine. Reading about the Marine Fabricators National conventions it was just outside of my reach for me to be able to afford to attend, you know that thought I should be there but can I really afford to go? My first MFA Marine Fabricators Association National Convention I attended was in Feb 1996. The amount of information that I learned and the people that I meet was so over whelming that I made a vow to myself to not miss the opportunity again. So in 19 years I only missed one MFA National Convention it was held in San Diego, CA. and I was stuck in Paris that week. (I called my wife to tell her I miss my plane and I was stuck in Paris overnight and she said ah poor baby, now grow up and go see the city an quit whining) Eifel Tower here I come. If you can make it to one of the MFA, NECPA, CMCFA or Zone 4 Marine Canvas Do It, you will be amazed at what you will become. I have been to 54 events so far, and every time I attend one of these events I always learn something new. So when I meet someone and they tell me that they went one event years ago and now they are all set, I am glad that I have the attitude to always be learning. Life Long Learner. So I am going to be sharing with you ideals on how to form and mold PVC Track to fit the boat. You will discover the tricks that can transform your use of Tracks to create a fool proof Enclosure. Follow these steps and you too can build the: Ultimate Track to Track system. I am very fortunate that I am able to travel to all of the Big Boat Shows Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Seattle, IBEX (International Boat Builders Show). This is where I see some of the creative ways other Marine Fabricators design their Marine Canvas Jobs. Also in my travels across the USA I have been in 1,100 different Marine Canvas Shops so I have a lot of value to share with you, don’t get me wrong I don’t claim to know it all. But I am the messenger that is going to be sharing with you some great tips and tricks. The point is not to think “Outside the Box†my mission is to make the box bigger so that these concepts are part of your way of marine canvas fabricating only then will you be able to make serious, meaningful headway. Some of the pictures I took featured in this Book came from my many opportunities to see what the USA is capable of creating, and so that I can share many of these with you. Great job to the Marine Fabricators that did some of these jobs.
