Answers to concerns

The color is ONLY on one side. In other words, not both sides of the paper has color. Only ONE side has color. The other side of the paper is white. With proper folding, it should be able to make stars as shown in the figure.

Thickness: Not categorized as thick/hard but more on the thicker side. A child under twelve years old might find a harder time folding.
