The Temptations' 1973 album Masterpiece is now available for the first time on CD. Includes the full length unedited studio versions of all of the album cuts (previously only available on vinyl). As all of The Temptationsâ€™ â€œpsychedelic soulâ€-era albums, Masterpiece was produced by Norman Whitfield. Masterpiece reached #1 on the Billboard R&B singles chart, and #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. â€œHey Girl (I Like Your Style)â€ also became a Top 40 hit in 1973. â€œLaw of the Landâ€ was released as a UK-only single and just missed the UK Top 40, peaking at #41 in 1973.
