We have chemically and manually aged the coin so the patina looks great right out of the package and will look even better with more wear from handling and daily carry. The product is treated to look as if it has been handled and circulated. This process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science, coloring and patinas will vary. No two are exactly the same! Coins are struck one at a time in the USA using antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. Original coin art by Michael Shantz
