Here are Narvel's early Sixties recordings for Roland Janes' labels. Times were changing but Narvel and Roland were still intent on making good ol' Memphis rock 'n' roll. The 26 titles include rock 'n' roll classics like 'Your True Love', 'Night Creature', 'Lola Did A Dance', 'Lovelight Man', 'Slippin' And Slidin'', 'Get On The Right Track Baby', 'Private Detective' and 'Mountain Of Love', as well country ballads like 'Blue Darlin' and 'Welcome Home Mr. Blues'. All are delivered with Narvel's heartstopping sense of drama. It's classic Memphis small group rock 'n' roll and country, and until now all these titles were hidden on unreleased tapes or on rare singles.
