How to use this Air/Oil filter?
You would see through the plastic when the filter is full and this lets you know it is time to exchange it. It does not change colors.
When using the air filter you can use it in place of the cotton filters.
To be able to use it you would need to cut the silicone hose and install the filter between the two pieces.
It is better not to cut the hose in the middle - cut a very short piece (1-2inches) and and connect the filter between two pieces.
This way you will be able to disconnect the air filter with the short piece of the hose and use cotton filters any time you'd like.
This way it will not affect the length of the hose too much.

How to connect these filters to the machine?
Just slip the tubes off of the old filter and place new filter on. The hoses or tubes are really hard to get off but just keep working and they will come off.
