Why use a Heating Pad?

Heating pads are used to manage pain. They increase the flow of oxygen to muscles and decrease pain signals to the brain, thereby relieving the discomfort.

Cold therapies help fresh injuries by calming damaged tissue, reducing the swelling and easing the pain.

What pains to they relieve?

Hot therapies are for stress relief, muscle aches and easing chronic pains from illnesses such as diabetes, arthritis, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel, back pain & abdominal cramps. Comfortable heat can also help soothe your mind and nervous system.

Cold therapies are used for acute injuries, inflammation, swelling, pulled muscles, sprains and bruises.

The pads are filled with 100% natural clay beads that will mould themselves to any body part and provide comforting relief wherever it is required.

How do you use them?

For hot therapies, heat the pads in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and repeat until you reach the desired temperature. By gradually increasing the time you will safely find how long they need to be heated in your microwave. However, please be careful not to overheat them.

For cold therapies, simply keep in the polythene bag and place in your freezer for at least 2 hours before applying.

How long do they stay hot or cold?

It is not recommended to apply hot or cold therapies for longer than 20 minutes. They are designed to safely retain their temperature for the duration of your therapy.

What are their size & weight?

The Neck Wrap is approximately 30x30 cm and weighs 850g. The Eye Mask is 260g. They are of sufficient weight to apply a calming pressure, which aids relaxation and promotes a sense of wellbeing.

Can they be washed?

The outer soft fabric casing can be removed for washing to ensure your enjoyment and hygiene at all times. However, please do not wash the inner pouch containing the clay beads.
