The factory hot-side pipe for the 2004.5-2010 Duramax features numerous restrictive bends and chokes the engine with 2.5Â€Â inch piping. The Mishimoto intercooler pipe is 3 inchÂ€Â in diameter, which provides a significant increase in airflow that results in more power and lower EGTs. The Mishimoto hot-side intercooler pipe and boot kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade and features mandrel bent aluminum with a fully polished finish made in USA. Mishimoto intercooler piping kits feature silicone boots with DuraCore technology.
