Monument Records Story 1958-62
Mention of Monument Records to a Sixties music fan will usually bring the immediate response: Roy Orbison . This was indeed the label on which the classic rock balladeer relaunched his career. But that two-word answer would be to ignore a lesser-known but talented roster of singers and musicians who made the label their home. 'Monument Is Artistry' was the label's slogan, and the 40 tracks showcased here more than back up that claim. CD2 1. Who's Gonna Buy You Ribbons (When I'm Gone) - Paul Clayton 2.
