BadAce Mosin Nagant Thread-On Bent Bolt Handle - NO Welding Required
Milled from a whole piece of stainless steel, the handle of the bent bolt is 3" long and is parallel to the stock in close position.
No welding is needed to install this thread on bolt handle! Install in 3 simple steps:
First, cut the straight bolt handle to ideal length.
Thread the shank of bolt body with a M10x1.5 Metric Die (NOT included, can be purchased at hardware stores or Amazon.com).
Finally, apply the threadlocker (included), screw the bend bolt handle on and install the two locking set screws.
Please note that the installation requires metal cutting and threading - if you are not familiar with metal works, please have it installed by an experienced metal worker or gunsmith.
Our unique design makes use of the shank of the straight bolt handle that is 10mm in diameter. Using a M10 die, you can easily thread the shank and build a solid platform for a bend bolt that has a M10 female thread on one end and a ball head on the other. There are 3 major advantages comparing to other solusions: 1. The bolt handle is perfectly verticle to the bolt itself, so you don't need to worry about the drilling angle. 2. The bolt handle shank is 10mm in diameter, which provides a much stronger platform than the drill-and-tap method. 3. Because the M10 treading provides a much larger surface, once loctited, it is very solid and be able to handle the hardest recoil. Order other items from us and pay one flat shipping fee!
