This delightful combination of banana bread and bread-pudding makes for an easy dessert after a busy day, or a nutritious snack on the trails after a rewarding hike. Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 8 hours Servings: 4 Ingredients: 2 bananas, sliced into rounds 1/4 cup cashews, chopped 1/2 cup white bread, cut into large chunks 1 tablespoon brown sugar Instructions: 1. Place the banana slices on the racks of your Nesco Snackmaster and set to 125F. Dehydrate for 8 hours or until completely dried. 2. In a zip-lock bag, combine the bananas and brown sugar. In another zip-lock bag combine the bread chunks and cashews. 3. To rehydrate, combine all ingredients with 1/2 cup warm water and allow to sit for 5 minutes before stirring and serving.
