- RELEASE WATER AWAY FROM PROPERTY: Discharge stormwater runoff captured and conveyed with catch basins, channel drains, drain pipes, and other drainage system components at a point of release in a water-safe area
- HOW IT WORKS: When water flows downstream and pressure builds, the cap pops up as high as 1 in., releases water, and closes once the flow diminishes; cap stays closed when not in use to prevent debris and clogging
- HOW TO INSTALL: Elbow connects to 3 in. sewer and drain pipe and 3 in. triple-wall pipe; Ensure the cover flange is flush or slightly below the top of the soil to prevent clipping with lawnmower
- KEY FEATURES: Flange design prevents grass from growing over the cover; Small weep hole in elbow drains out any water in the pipe to prevent stagnation or freezing in cold weather; Flat profile reduces tripping hazard
- SPECS: Releases collected water up to 56 GPM; Supports pedestrian traffic, when properly installed; Cap/cover made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking
