NDS 422G Pop-Up Drainage Emitter with Elbow fits 4-Inch Sewer and Drain Pipe, Works with Drainage Systems Including Catch Basins, Green
RELEASE WATER AWAY FROM PROPERTY: Capture water upstream and carry it away from structures and poor drainage areas to discharge with the pop-up emitter positioned downstream
HOW IT WORKS: The pop-up emitter works at a low point of the drainage system to discharge water collected from upstream and help protect property from water damage
INSTALLATION: Elbow connects to 4 in. sewer and drain pipe and 4 in. triple-wall pipe, connects to other pipe types using appropriate adapters; install with cover flush or slightly below adjacent turf to reduce potential for clipping with lawnmower
POPS UP TO OPEN, CLOSES WHEN FLOW DIMINISHES: Cap, or cover, lifts up as high as 1 in. once water pressure builds; flat profile design reduces trip hazard and is flush to the ground when properly installed
ALL-WEATHER SAFE: Small weep hole in elbow drains out any water in the pipe to prevent stagnation or freezing in cold weather
Drainage Emitter: The Pop-Up Drainage Emitter is safe, ease and an efficient solution. It gathers water to be delivered and released to water-safe areas away from structures, erosion-prone landscapes and poor drainage areas. Pop-Up Emitters allows water captured by grates, catch basins, channel drains, Flo-Well, downspouts and roof gutter systems to flow through the drainage pipe and away from structural foundations to safe or useful areas. For example, water can be routed from a low area next to a foundation to a water safe area such as a curbside drainage system. The Emitter is opened by the hydrostatic pressure of water flowing through the drain pipe. As flow diminishes the Emitter closes again. The special design allows the Emitter to open with a negligible amount of pressure. Since the emitter is closed during dry weather, debris and rodents cannot enter the drain pipes.
