During the day, while the sun is shining bright, the photochromatic lenses darken to block harmful ultraviolet rays. Then, as light begins to dim, the lenses lighten as they adjust to the fading light. This gives you complete eyewear protection 24 hours a day. * Note these require UV light to darken, and will not work behind any type of material that blocks UV light, Helmet Shields, Car Windshields etc.
