About our Artist: Thai artisan Tui tells his story. 'My name is Komkrit Sitthiprasert but everyone calls me Tui. After receiving a BS in car mechanics, I worked in a car magazine. In 1997, our economy suffered and I had to find something to supplement my income. My girlfriend and I started selling women's clothing, including coordinated jewelry. However, the jewelry started selling better than the clothes! We learned to design and make beautiful jewelry and developed our own style. Now we focus only on jewelry.'...
