Natural Slate Stone Gravel Less Than 1/8" - USA Sourced and Packaged for Mosaic Stone Art, Crafts, Basing Models, Wargaming, Bonsai, Succulents, Miniature or Fairy Gardens (1 lb)
100% natural slate coarse sand/gravel that has been sourced, sorted, washed, and packaged by our family owned business in the USA. The color is a gorgeous deep grey. Each package is a mix of 1/32-1/8" stone (may be slightly above or below this range).
Wonderful for mosaic stone art. Perfect scale for miniature models/railroads, wargaming, dioramas, crafts and micro aquariums. Make a realistic path in your scene. Use alone or as a joint filler in between larger stones in small scale paths or patios.
Elegant as a topper for bonsai, succulents, and as mulch/ground cover for indoor plants. Use in home decor in bowls and vases under candles. In miniature gardens makes a beautiful path or mulch.
An excellent gravel for aquascaping small scale fresh and saltwater aquariums, and planted tanks. The deep grey/black color makes wood, plants and other inhabitants and decorations pop. This package size is appropriate for micro tanks or as a small path in a tank. This size gravel also comes in larger packaging (6 or 14 lbs) for use as aquarium gravel.
This gravel pairs perfectly with our larger stone that come in sizes from 1 to 10 inches for a natural scene. As a natural stone, there may be some white or brown/orange surface discoloration mixed in. These beautiful variations add a natural uniqueness and interest. We offer three different sizes of small scale gravel to choose from; Less than 1/8" (coarse sand 1/32" to 1/8" - this listing), 1/8"-1/4" and 1/4-1/2". We like to mix these for an even more realistic scene! Check them out!
