Neanderthal Journeys: Book 2 : New Era begins
This is the second book in the Neanderthal Journeys collection (4 Planned): Cuda and Gleanor and Gremo, leave Maglon's people with more unmated people with hopes of finding mates at Copad's compound. The three male hunters from Copad's people find mates within Maglon's village who are going back with them to Copad's people. They have a few close encounters on their way but eventually get back to Copad's compound safely. Within a few days, Cuda and his hunters and families and together with Gleanor and her son Gremo, who now calls Cuda, Father, set of to the other four Clans near Copad's people. Along the way they face many dangers, but are going to deliver the message about the building of a new village where some of Copad's People and Maglon's people will live together. This will mainly consist of newly mated young couples.
They are also going to pass on the news about Bannon's bow and arrow weapon and to show them how to use and make them. It becomes obvious that the bow weapon is going to make a great difference in how the peoples do with their future hunting success.
However, not everyone welcomes the mixing of the two people, there is conflict rising in the background and Cuda does his best to avoid it. After nearly a full moon's cycle, Cuda and his people and others that join them, eventually arrive back at Copad's compound feeling very happy to be back amongst friends and families. Cuda's next objective is to begin the planning of the new village that all the peoples are going to help build together: Lookout for Book three, "New Horizons".
